About me
Hi, I’m alokin. I like the technological world, the city, and the freedom to do whatever I want.
It’s a pleasure to meet you. Let me tell you a bit more about myself.
I’m a high school student, studying computer and electrical sciences in Bulgaria and have many different interests.
What made me love technology so much?
Ever since I’ve been little, I’ve always loved the concept of modern-day tech. From the moment I first touched my family’s personal computer, I think I’ve just gotten attached to the art of information and connectivity. The fact that I can communicate with a person on the other side of the globe, in a matter of seconds, is just mind-blowing, especially when we consider our history as humanity.
What equally amazes me about our technological world is the huge group of people who continue to innovate and improve it. Whether it is skilled hobbyists making detailed tutorials on the internet for every aspect of a device, or an innovator creating the next generation of portable devices, these people are some of the best I’ve ever met and I will always take notes from their insight. From time to time, I try creating something in whatever tech field I find motivating. You can even see what I’ve done on this same website.
How come I love the city so much?
I am a fan of the metropolis, most of the time. Being in the city, being in the moment, is something that brings me comfort and satisfaction. That’s what makes me love “city breaks” so much. I’ve been on quite a few – to London, to Barcelona & Valencia, to The Hague and Amsterdam, and the list goes on. I’ve taken many pictures there, and I will be sharing them with you right here as well.
How do I envision my free will in our society?
The single idea of human freedom that our society has made, is what allows us as humans to lead a happy life, full with moments we appreciate. I believe that we all are built upon the principle that we are free beings. In moments, the fact that I am free to be on my own, is something that also makes me feel good about myself. And when I need support, I know that my friends and family are always there to help me.
Thank you for listening to my TedTalk, hehe. Take care!
