Linux
Linux is a operating subsystem that can be modified in many ways. You can currently purchase of download some operating systems (ex. Ubuntu, Debora etc.) for free. A week ago I attempted to make a Linux Distrobution, by the name of IBGSoftware, an easy guider. The purpose of the OS was to help the disadvantaged (people that are blind, or deaf). I was writing the code when all of the sudden my screen blacked out (I was coding in a virtual machine that was not in full screen)! What happened?! Has my “activated” Windows gone mental? Well, yes, but the catch is, no. My computer blacked out because I turned it on after this happened, and it had apparently been doing some updates, so I might have corrupted the entire system, so I reinstalled it… I was going through setup and IT… WENT… MENTAL… AGAIN!!!! So, I decided to slap a copy of Ubuntu (install Ubuntu) on my computer, and it ran in an MBR Partition Table, even though I had set it to be UEFI, as it is more modern. Guess what happened? Yeah, thankfully I didn’t fry my PC, because of Rufus (a bootable coverting and uploading programme) it warned me with a huge message saying:
ATTENTION!!!
YOU ARE TRYING TO BOOT A GPI BOOTABLE USB WITH A MBR PARTITION TABLE. YOU CANNOT PROCEED! IF YOU CONTINUE YOU MAY CAUSE INCOMBATIBILITY ISSUES ON YOUR COMPUTER! PLEASE REMOVE YOUR MEDIUM, AND TURN OFF SECURE BOOT IN YOUR BIOS SETTINGS!
Man, god bless Rufus! It saved my PC from a fatal crash… so, I turned off secure boot and installed Ubuntu 20.04.1 Focal Fossa, completely ditching the entire Microsoft Ecosystem. I installed it, my screen blacked out again, but 25 minutes later, I was taking a shower to see the Ubuntu Login Screen on my monitor, yay! I was so excited! I logged in, connected my PC with Ethernet and downloaded everything needed. I had problems downloading Google Chrome, as Firefox, did not support YouTube Streaming, I installed it at the end. Now, I am writing this blog on Ubuntu, see:
When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any approach you possibly can take away me from that service? Thanks!
Sorry for the inconvenience! Would you like for me to remove your subscription? You can try again, by registering once. There is a bit of delay from my newsletter, so that may be the issue.
Wow! Thank you! I continuously wanted to write on my blog something like that. Can I include a fragment of your post to my blog?
Yes, you can, can you link your blog with a reply so I can see it? That would be great.
In fact when someone doesn’t know after that its up to other users that they will assist, so here it takes place.
