Another trip in Central-North Bulgaria!

Another trip in Central-North Bulgaria!

Today, I am going to a very ethnic village called Etar (Етър). In the village, there are many museums about people that have lived in the past, but mainly people that helped Bulgaria be independent from the ottomans. More specifically, Vasil Levski, Dimcho Delelyanov and many more….

Since in Etar, there are two hotels available, which can’t fit my family (somebody has to sleep on the floor), we had to reserve a hotel in Gabrovo. I will update you on everything, as we go.

Update 1:

Yesterday, we arrived at our apartment at 12:00. The apartment was an IKEA inspired luxury home. It had a very nice aesthetic.

We wanted to have lunch somewhere, so we sat down at the nearest restaurant. I ordered a pizza and my parents ordered the food of their desire. At the restaurant, there was only one cook, the food arrived a bit slower that other restaurants, but I think it was my lack of patience at that time. The food was amazing, though.

After that, we went to the ethnic museum of Etar. We had some difficulties figuring out where was the public parking. We found it and bought tickets, including a game. The game was interesting. It came with a map and a pen. On that map, there were questions that you had to answer while going through the museum. Here are some pictures of the museum:

It was wonderful, there was a cafe, in which there was coffee, but it was boiled in sand. It was very cool. I had a cider and a very delicious candy hen. It was different than the other ones.

Update 2:

After we left Gabrovo, we drove to the Pleven Panorama. The Panorama is a building built in 1977, 100 years after the independence of the Pleven Province. It looks very cool.

Pleven Panorama

There was a room which was with a circular shape, and all the walls were painted as a landscape to how it would have looked like if you were on a hill while the Russo-Osman war in Bulgaria was happening. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any pictures, but I did take some of the bottom floor.

Update 3:

After the panorama, Me and my family went to the centre to see what was going on. Take a look. ( The pictures might not appear for a while, please wait for an hour and try again)

Now, we are a going back home. Thank you for reading! If you liked this, click the SUBSCRIBE button. Have a nice day!
